After hearing many expressions of dissatisfaction from its members about insurance, the Board of Capricorn Society decided to seek an alternative.
Capricorn Mutual Limited was formed in 2003 to offer a commercially feasible alternative to insurance exclusively for members of Capricorn Society in Australia and New Zealand.
Capricorn Mutual is not an insurance company, it is a discretionary mutual operated for the benefit of its members.
Since commencing operations Capricorn Mutual has paid over AU$43 million in claims.
